Missions

The members of Ledgewood Christian Church are committed to supporting a variety of ministry and outreach opportunities including, but not limited to:

Church World Service (CWS) Blanket Program distributes thousands of blankets around the world annually to help persons who are homeless, recovering from disasters, fleeing from their homes and more.  Each January and February, Ledgewood Christian Church collects donations as part of CWS' campaign to blanket the world in love.  Ledgewood has donated more than 100 blankets each year as part of this ongoing effort.  For more information, please visit https://cwsblankets.org/ 

The Cleveland Christian Home which is a residential treatment center for abused or neglected boys aged 8 - 18.  The CCH Mission:  The Cleveland Christian Home exists to be a haven of hope and healing for children, youth and families struggling with mental illness, abuse and neglect.  A portion of the proceeds from the annual DIY Rummage Sale are designated for the CCH. For more information, please visit

The Geauga Hunger Task Force supports seven food pantries that serve our community.  The Ledgewood Christian Church Youth Ministry has a year-round food collection of non-perishable food items that are taken to the Burton Congregational Church's Hunger Cupboard.  Additionally, the offering taken during our annual Christmas Eve Service of Carols, Communion and Candlelight is donated to the Geauga Hunger Task Force.  For more information, please visit https://www.geaugahungertaskforce.org/

Week of Compassion works through a network of church partner organizations and partnerships that insures a response to humanitarian needs in the world that is efficient, effective and faithful.
